Description

You’re not going to die! Most people who fear flying are either afraid that the plane will crash, or that they will panic and lose control. Rationally you know that you’re safer in the air than on the ground. But anxiety feels like it has control over you.

The thing about anxiety is that the less attention you pay to the anxiety the weaker it gets. It’s like starving a fire of oxygen. You’re mind and body have been fooling you into thinking you need to be afraid, but you don’t.

Hypnotherapy is a fantastic tool that can help change the way we think about issues in our lives. Visualisation has been proven to help people change the way they think, and change the focus of their thoughts. This recording brings together the value of hypnotherapy with the power of visualisation to assist users to overcome their fear of flying.

Dr Simon Kinsella is a clinical psychologist in Melbourne, Australia. He has used hypnotherapy as part of his practice, helping people improve confidence in a variety of situations. The hypnotherapy in this recording is based on more than 20 years of clinical experience, and an understanding of what works best for most people.

FOR BEST RESULTS

Listen to the recording every 2 to 3 days for at least 2 weeks prior to a flight. You may find that you still experience some anxiety (but less than normal) the first times you fly after you start this process. Look at those flights as practice flights. You are literally practicing thinking differently.

Your results will be improved by planning what you are going to do on the flight. The last thing you should do is get on the plane and concentrate on whether or not you are anxious. People who don’t have a fear of flying do all sorts of things. They might read, listen to music, watch a movie, talk to the person next to them, or plan what they will be doing when they arrive at their destination. They don’t sit there thinking about anxiety, and nor should you.

You can take this recording with you on the plane just in case!
